elf reading program

The Excellence in Literacy Foundation (ELF) offered for grades 1-5, provides personalized help with reading and writing on a weekly basis throughout the school year. We strive to provide specialized lessons based on individual skill levels and learning needs through a 1-to-2 ratio.

Adult Art Project

The Adult Art program, led by a professional artist, brings community members together to create unique artwork to display within the community. All supplies necessary are provided at no additional costs, and no experience is needed.

Adult Coffee Drop in

Once every few weeks, Pinecrest Terrace members are welcome to come in and enjoy a warm beverage and chat with other residents. 


*This program has evolved into the Community Brunch Program

Soup Lunch Program

On Wednesdays, a team of community and church volunteers prepares hot soup to be enjoyed by Food Bank clients and community members. The soup varies weekly and is prepared with consideration for dietary restrictions. 


*This program is currently on hold due to lack of space, The main floor and kitchen of our Community House is being used for food bank purposes 

Pinecrest Terrace new tenant welcome Basket

In 2018, Pinecrest Terrace began delivering welcome baskets to new tenants who move into the Pinecrest Terrace Community to make them feel welcome and to introduce them to the Community House programs and services. The basket is full of non-perishable food items and household supplies.


*This program is offered to families when they first move into the Pinecrest Terrace community. It is free.
