Process for getting food:
- Please call to book your appointment. We answer the phone Monday-Friday during the day
- We are closed every day from 12 pm to 1 pm.
- We cannot always answer the phone. We are a small team and at times we are too busy to answer calls. That said, we will call you back, so please leave a message.
- Food Bank appointments are booked at least 4-5 weeks in advance. This is due to a drastic increase in need for our services over the past 2 years
- Appointments are generally booked from 9:30 am- 3 pm on Wednesdays and Fridays and 3:00 pm-4:00 pm Thursdays
- We will let you know of all available appointment times you can choose from when you call

The Pinecrest Terrace Food Bank is a member agency of the Ottawa Food Bank.
Please note: if you are unwell or you know that you have COVID, please do not come to the Community House. Let us know you are ill and we will do our best to make arrangements for you to receive food.
How to Determine which Food Bank to Access
- We are a member agency of the Ottawa Food Bank
- The Pinecrest Terrace Food Bank has a designated geographical area that it serves.
- Please visit the Ottawa Food Bank Website https://www.ottawafoodbank.ca/get-help/ Under the "Get Help" section of the Ottawa Food Bank website, you type in your home address. The website will then let you know which food bank is your food bank
