Although we are not crisis support workers or Councillors, Community House staff does all we can for the community in times of crisis. Tenants often use us as the first point of contact when they are in need of help. We are honoured to be a permanent fixture in the Pinecrest Terrace Community and happy to provide a meeting place for the whole community. We have spent years developing relationships of trust with all of our neighbours and food bank customers, and as such, are uniquely positioned to offer trusted support, referrals, and a liaison with other agencies when crisis arise (natural disasters, family or personal difficulties, violence, fire).
