The Pinecrest Terrace Food Bank serves the Pinecrest Terrace neighbourhood and a specific area that surrounds Pinecrest Terrace. The Pinecrest Terrace Community House organizes family excursions to explore Ottawa and the surrounding areas. This program allows families within the community to spend quality time together, make memories, and explore new places. The Community House covers all costs and transportation accommodations.
In the past, our families have been to the Sugar Bush, the National Art Gallery, Gatineau Park, Upper Canada Village, a Pow Wow, Dance Workshops, the International Animation Festival, various museums, and family skating.
*This program is funded by the City of Ottawa, Ottawa Community Foundation, and Kids Up front Ottawa. This program is dependent on grant funding and will be offered whenever funding is available. This program is free of charge and available to members of the Pinecrest Terrace Community.
Throughout the year, Community House staff work alongside volunteers and partners to plan and host a variety of celebrations and gatherings. This allows the community to come together and build positive relationships with one another to break isolation. Keep an eye out for announcements surrounding upcoming events and how you can get involved.

This program is offered to registered members of Pinecrest Terrace Community House and is free of charge. Certain events may require an RSVP due to space/food limitations.
Pinecrest Terrace Community House provides various opportunities to come together as a community over a fresh meal. City-wide partners attend brunches to engage in conversations and answer questions about various programs and services offered and available. Keep an eye out for announcements regarding Community Brunches.

This program is offered to Pinecrest Terrace Community members as well as Food Bank clients and is free of charge. Brunches may require an RSVP due to space/food limitations
Caring and Sharing is a city-wide organization offering the 'Christmas Exchange' food support program. It is run on a first come first serve basis for anyone registered with Pinecrest Terrace Community House. Please contact the Community House (613) 596-6703 or 2-1-1 for more information.
